About Us:
Sportsman Media is a media company passionate about capturing the heart of youth and amateur sports. We’re looking for driven, aspiring sports photographers and videographers to join our team on a part-time, seasonal basis to cover local baseball and softball games.

Position Overview:
We're seeking a reliable and creative sports photographer to capture high-quality images during baseball and softball games throughout the season. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for action shots, owns their own equipment, and can work independently under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Photograph or video assigned baseball and softball games (typically evenings or weekends).

  • Capture a variety of high-quality, engaging action shots and candid moments.

  • Cull and edit photos/videos for clarity, composition, and color.

  • Submit a final, curated set of images by Monday at 8:00 AM following each weekend.

  • Communicate with Sportsman Media team to stay aligned on expectations and scheduling.

Requirements:

  • Must own professional-level photography equipment (DSLR or mirrorless camera, lenses suitable for sports).

  • Proven ability to shoot fast-paced sports in varying lighting conditions.

  • Proficiency in photo editing software (e.g., Lightroom, Photoshop).

  • Videographers - ability to create powerful reels with footage captured.

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.

  • Reliable transportation to game locations.

  • Portfolio or sample work required with application.

Nice to Have:

  • Prior experience photographing youth or amateur sports.

  • Familiarity with online galleries or media submission platforms.

Compensation:
Pay is hourly based on experience and quality of work. Additional opportunities for expanded coverage or ongoing projects may become available based on performance.
