Our vision is to provide a space and opportunity for athletes to develop the fundamental skills, discipline and character necessary to reach their highest level of personal growth and achievement.
Our mission is to be the leading athletic facility in the midwest, prepare athletes in the activity or sport of their choice, provide programming to supplement athletic enhancement and development from youth to college and beyond.
About Sportsplex West
Sportsplex West serves to provide local athletes with personalized training, professional staff, and competitive experiences. Located in Waukee, Iowa, Sportsplex West has been helping players throughout central Iowa and the Midwest since 2005.
Player development is at the core of all Sportsplex West programs and leagues. Our combined 60,000 square foot space is home to Iowa Sticks Baseball Club, Barracuda Aces Softball Club, Iowa Battlers Basketball Club, Iowa PowerPlex Volleyball Club, Xtreme Beach Volleyball Club, Tekkers Soccer Training and Apex Academy Football Training. Additionally, Sportsplex is partnered with and houses D1 Training, a program that offers people of all ages opportunities to develop strength, agility, and endurance in order to achieve both athletic and personal goals.
Our main building contains 36,000 square feet of high-quality training equipment. Equipped with batting cages, rubber crumb turfs, and D1’s state-of-the-art weight room, Sportsplex West has count-less pieces of technology that serve to improve player experience and performance.
The Sportsplex West team has a strong passion for empowering and equipping athletes to achieve both long and short term goals. Valuing the individual player by offering personal connections and countless opportunities for improvement is at the core of our organization.
