Nick is a graduate of West Delaware High School, where he was a 4 sport letter winner

Nick holds a BA degree in Physical Education with a Coaching minor from the University of Northern Iowa, graduating in 2007.
Upon graduation, he started his teaching career at Iowa Valley Elementary in Marengo, IA. He was the Kindergarten-6th grade Physical Education teacher at Iowa Valley Community School District.
Nick was named the βCoach of the Yearβ in the SICL Conference after winning 2 consecutive conference softball championships while at Iowa Valley.
Urbandale has made it to the state tournament 4 out of those 6 years and in his first season as head coach won the first conference championship for Urbandale since the 1990βs.

Jackson’s passion and knowledge for softball is far beyond her years. Her direct coaching style makes her an outstanding instructor. High School β Played shortstop and center field at Bixby High School in Oklahomaβ¦ Named First-Team All-Region and First-Team All-Conference during her time as a Spartanβ¦ Also placed on the First-Team Academic All-Conference List.
Junior College β Played a valuable role in DMACC run in the NJCAA World Series placing 4th in 2015 and 6th in 2016. Played second base during her freshman year and then left field in her sophomore season for coach Bob Ligouri at Des Moines Area Community Collegeβ¦ Named Second-Team All-Conference both seasons at DMACC
College β Northwest Oklahoma State University playing LF and Second base while earning a Bachelors in Health and Sports Science.
