Catchers will work on receiving, blocking, footwork and throwing technique.

Fielding sessions on artificial X-Grass turf where you will be able to take game-like ground balls

Flexibility
Focus on flexibility and mobility, key elements for all softball players

Speed
D1 Sports Training will lead this class with their unique program reducing 60 yd dash times

Velocity
Focuses on flexibility, core strength and lower half mobility to improve throwing velocity
The off-season is the time to work harder than your competition. This program is designed to make huge off-season gains in the areas of bat speed, hitting mechanics, fielding, and overall athleticism.
Sessions will be available to book in your self-service account so the program will give you the flexibility to create your own schedule.

All sessions are booked through our self-service portal. Sessions will be put in your account 2 weeks prior to the start of the program
Bat Speed
Hour-long bat speed enhancement sessions are offered weekly. The 1st half hour of the program consists of heavy-bat, overload bat, underload bat, one-handed bat, and weighted batting gloves. The 2nd half-hour of the program will be run by a D1 Sports trainer who will incorporate med ball/band/dumbbell/kettlebell work to build strength in the player’s core/legs and arms which highly important to develop power.
Velocity
Sportsplex has designed an extensive program that focuses on flexibility, core strength, and lower half mobility to improve throwing velocity. D1 Sports Training will also have a trainer at sessions to enhance explosiveness. The program will use plyo balls, Jaeger Bands, foam rollers and other key training tools to increase velocity.
