During this uncertain time, we understand that customers do not want to miss the opportunity to be a part of the many new program registrations that are being offered, which will begin after the health restrictions put in place by the Iowa Department of Public Health have been lifted. Moreover, we understand that customers may be hesitant to create and pay for new registrations if our State, Local and Federal restrictions persist.
At Sportsplex West, we are committed to instilling confidence in our customers by ensuring that future program registrations will be handled appropriately, fairly, and professionally through our “Refund/Voucher/Reschedule” customer confidence policy. The confidence policy is designed for all new registrations effective immediately and allows customers 3 options with future registrations:
Refund: Customers may request a refund for a future cancellation that Sportsplex West determines will not be rescheduled due to COVID-19 restrictions recommended by the Iowa Department of Public Health. Customers requesting a refund will be removed entirely from the program and all refunds will fall into our general refund policy as listed here on our website. Unless specifically stated on registration materials, the deadline to request a refund for an event is [NUMBER OF DAYS] before the program is originally scheduled to begin. Cancellations requested after the stated deadline will not be eligible for a refund, but will be eligible for a voucher. A 4% charge will occur to cover the refund processing.
Voucher: If a Customer chooses not to reschedule a program which is canceled due to COVID-19 restrictions recommended by the Iowa Department of Public Health, the customer will be granted a Voucher and 100% of the funds paid will be placed in the customer’s account to be used as the customer wishes on a later date for any events or registrations offered by Sportsplex West. This voucher will be valid for 3 years from the date of this notice.
Reschedule: Sportsplex West will continue to monitor the situation and reserves the right to reschedule events to ensure the safety of customers and staff. If programs are rescheduled multiple times due to COVID-19 restrictions, as recommended by the Iowa Department of Public Health, the registration may no longer be refundable. A Voucher request, however, will always be honored.
Sportsplex West reserves the right to examine all requests on a case by case basis and will keep the safety of customers and staff as its highest priority. As we work through these ever-changing times, Sportsplex West also reserves the right to modify this policy to include other solutions to continued cancellations such as “Pro-rata share Refunds” or “Partial Program” processes.

Refunds – On canceled registrations, a refund for the credit amount will be issued within 7-10 business days from the date the credit was approved. For refunds, we will return the refund amount to the credit card used to place the order or by check at request.
